Overview

DictaIO is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

Voice Recordings

All voice recordings are processed locally on your device using WhisperKit. Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription is complete. We never store or transmit your audio.

Transcribed Text

Transcribed text is stored only on your device if you enable History in Settings. Text is never sent to our servers. If you use Clean or Polished modes with your own API key, text is sent directly to your chosen AI provider according to their privacy policy.

API Keys

If you provide an API key, it is stored securely in your device's Keychain and never transmitted to us.

Analytics

DictaIO does not collect analytics, usage data, or any form of telemetry.

Third Party Services

If you choose to use AI enhancement features, you provide your own API key to third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies.
